1. WAITING FOR LAST MINUTE
Some people like to start classes about 8 to 3 months to exams. They go to remedial classes and they are promised they would pass but they never do. No teacher is a magician. If you go to them a few months to exams they won’t drive you away. They would take your money, its business.
Start 1 year before time and no matter how dumb you are you would still pass. If you are a terrible maths student start earlier please.
2. JOINING A CLASS THAT IS FULL OF MANY STUDENTS.
If you failed, it means you have a big problem and so you need private tutorials or at least a small class. Let me explain. You need close supervision and that is the truth. Teachers are not able to handle many students at the same time, once some few people understand, they are ok. Some people even feel shy to ask questions when they are in a class with many students. So teachers continue to teach and students fail to understand; waste of time. At topnotch, this is what I do, I teach a few people at a time so that I can interact with them, for some I make it private. So far it has worked for me, not one person has failed.
3. FOLLOWING APOR.
Some students won’t learn until they get apor. I love apor because it makes students fail. They prefer schools that claim to teach apor. APOR HAS DONE MORE DAMAGE THAN GOOD. Just read the papers, the number of exam papers that are been cancelled everyday by WAEC or fake apor. I won’t say more about this.
