Many students today are very coy when it comes to doing the
sciences. They don’t want to get into trouble with chemistry, physics and math.
They go to do business and it is the same thing.
Math has been the reason why most people hate school. I have
friends who claim they hate math and the person who brought it. So they study
everything else except math, they fall asleep while in front of their math
books. In our marketing class, while solving some calculus questions some of
our mates were mourning ‘sir, if we wanted to do math we wouldn’t have run away
from the science classes’. In accounting too we met math waiting for us.
The negative attitude towards math is the reason why some
people don’t do well in most of the courses. Math is the backbone of most of the
courses; if you do chemistry there is math in it, physics, even biology has
math. In marketing we did quantitative analysis, which we dubbed ‘quanti’; it
had statistics and calculus and the like. In short you can’t ignore math.
If you don’t understand it, it’d frustrate your education

hrough and through. A solid grasp of math would always make you stay on top.
Math is not difficult if you maintain the right attitude; for
